Recycled Envelopes

DIY Recycles Envelopes are fun, cute, stylish and you can make them with envelopes you’ve even received in the mail. Who knew recycled items could be so much fun? Let’s gather our supplies.

Materials: Magazines, envelopes you’ve received items in/or purchase new mailers. They’re fairly inexpensive. $1 for like 10. Spray adhesive (optional) Only if you’re a perfectionist, but you can still make envelopes without. My main office supply for this project is clear tape. You also need scissors, a pen, and scratch paper. What’s next?

Pick out vibrant images or pictures from the magazine that entice your eye.

Glue magazine pictures down or simply tape sides. Cut the envelope to your liking. (Inside look)

Put items inside. Tape shut.

(Front) Let’s add packaging slips.  I found a piece of scratch paper with dried paint and used it for the labels.

Top left corner: Write a return label including your address and name. Bottom right: Include the name and address of the person you’re sending a package/letter to. Tape the packaging slips down with clear tape.

Two envelopes I made after. I filled them with items I needed to ship for purchase orders.

Pretty neat right? Have fun making DIY Recycle Envelopes/Mailers.
